Being a true friend...
" What is life without friendship? Listening to others creates compassion and friendship. But i have to know how to be a friend if i wish to experience genuine friendship. What i offer is what creates the quality of my relationship with others. If i give my best, the best comes to me. Giving of the best is always selfless and unconditional.
A genuine relationship is based on commitment and loyalty. Then it is enduring constant. Such relationships make one's life worthwhile and purposeful. Relationships should be sustained by love, happiness and personal freedom. True love heals even the deepest wounds. This unique quality is only experienced when i am not demanding and expecting a response. For me, true friendship is to strive to lift people up, not cast them down; to encourage, not to discourage; and to set an example that will be an inspiration to others. We are human magnets. We attract friendship and social relationships are an important aspect of living.
A true friend is simple, humble and genuine, only having the aim to make others happy, even if he is not part of that happiness. He does not see the defects of anyone but rather look at his own. True friendship is like sound health, the value of it is seldom known ..until it is lost. "
" a friend is one who walks in when the others walk out. " |
